Zenifel Calming Spray 60ml

Zenifel Spray is a targeted calming solution to use in specific areas for short-term periods, such as in cat carriers for travel or vet visits. It contains feline facial pheromones and catnip extract to soothe cats when they’re experiencing high stress. For quick and effective calming simply spray in areas where you cat spends the most time under stress.

Inspired by your cat's natural instincts, the synthetic feline facial pheromones in Zenifel Calming Spray mimics those excreted from your cat's glands found on their cheek and chin area. It’s the substance they rub on objects to mark them as safe and familiar. We also added a bit of catnip for even better results.

As every cat owner knows, cats are incredibly sensitive to their surroundings. Routines are extremely important to cats because they provide predictability, which makes them feel safe. Most cats will display stress-related behaviours at some point in their lives, such as scratching, running away, hiding, vocalising and hissing, drooling and inappropriate urination. Certain changes to their routine can cause some stress to your cat such as:

- A change of routine such as a new feeding time
- Households with multiple cats and/or dogs
- Loud noises like fireworks, storms and construction
- Moving and adjusting to a new home and unfamiliar smells
- Spending time alone (separation-related stress)
- Large gatherings like parties
- A new animal or person in the household
- Travelling in a car or airplane
- Visits to the vet or groomer

Keep one with you to use it whenever and wherever your cat may feel stressed, such as in their cat basket, bed, blankets, etc. Allow the product to dry for 15 minutes before introducing your cat to the area.

Precautions:

SHAKE WELL BEFORE EACH USE.
NEVER spray your pet directly.
ALWAYS wait 15 minutes before letting your cat enter sprayed areas.

Instructions by situation:

CARRIER/TRANSPORTATION
Apply up to 8 sprays around the inside of the carrier. Repeat every 4 hours as needed.

NEW ANIMAL OR ENVIRONMENT
Before introducing your cat to the new pet or environment: spray door frames, corners of large furniture, and room corners 7 inches from the floor. Repeat every 6 hours as needed. Reapply once a day for up to 2 months.

URINE MARKING
Clean all traces of urine, then spray the vertical surface 5-7 inches from the ground. Reapply 1-3 sprays every 4 hours as needed.

SCRATCHING
Apply up to 6 sprays once per day on the scratched area.

STRESSFUL EVENTS (WEATHER, VISITORS, FIREWORKS) Spray 24 hours before a planned event. If unplanned, wait 15 minutes after spraying to let the cat enter the sprayed area(s). Repeat every 6 hours as needed.
