Copper accumulation can happen in some liver diseases, this food helps to minimise copper accumulation in your dog's liver. ROYAL CANIN® Hepatic wet dog food  is a low copper dog food that contains specifically adapted levels of high-quality proteins to support liver function

As part of the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. Transitioning your pet from one diet to another should be a smooth and gradual process over a 7–10 day period. Please ensure you follow the correct rationing amount, especially when mixed feeding. To cater to each dog’s individual preferences, ROYAL CANIN® Hepatic is also available as dry food with crunchy kibble.

Please note: ROYAL CANIN® Hepatic dry dog food is not suitable for pancreatitis or history of pancreatitis, hyperlipidaemia, acute hepatitis without hepatic encephalopathy, growth, gestation, or lactation.

Composition

Poultry by-products, rice, maize grits, maize flour, powder cellulose, fish oil, sunflower oil refined, minerals, dried beet pulp, yeasts and part thereof, fructo-oligosaccharides, marigold meal. Protein sources: poultry by-products (27.8%).

Nutritional Additives

Vitamin D3: 358 IU, Vitamin E: 300 mg, Vitamin C: 105 mg, Taurine: 0.5 g, Iron (3b103): 31 mg, Iodine (3b202): 0.83 mg, Copper (3b405, 3b406): 0.5 mg, Manganese (3b502, 3b503, 3b504): 12.1 mg, Zinc (3b603, 3b605, 3b606): 77 mg, Selenium (3b801, 3b811, 3b812): 0.05 mg.
