ROYAL CANIN® Early Renal wet cat food is a specially tailored diet to help support cats in the early stages of Chronic Renal Insufficiency, providing them with nutrients that help to support kidney function.

• Cats with early Chronic Kidney Disease without proteinuria (IRIS stage 1).
Early renal support
o When cats' kidneys are not functioning efficiently, that often means that phosphorus cannot effectively be filtered from the bloodstream. ROYAL CANIN® Early Renal is specially formulated with a moderate phosphorus content to help support this process. ROYAL CANIN® Early Renal also contains a supportive antioxidant complex, as well as EPA and DHA fatty acids to further support kidney function.
Age support
o Renal disorders are often more common in older cats, so a diet that also supports healthy ageing is key. ROYAL CANIN® Early Renal contains glucosamine and chondroitin to help support healthy joint function.
Digestive support
o This formula is highly digestible and contains well-balanced fibres and prebiotics to support your cat's digestive health.
Royal Canin are proud to partner with leading veterinary scientists to produce early renal wet cat food pouches. As part of the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Range, it is important that this product is only fed to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. Transitioning your pet from one diet to another should be a smooth and gradual process over a 7-10-day period. Please ensure you follow the correct rationing amount.
Some cats with renal disorders may have a reduced appetite or food aversion, but texture variety can help to support your cat's appetite. To cater to each cat's individual preferences, ROYAL CANIN® Early Renal is also available as a dry food. If you feed your cat a mixed diet of wet and dry food, make sure you follow the on-pack feeding guides to ensure a healthy daily food intake for your cat. ROYAL CANIN® Early Renal Veterinary diets for cats are formulated to help support cats in the early stages of Chronic Renal Insufficiency.

Composition
Poultry by-products, pork by-products, wheat flour, pork blood products, powdercellulose, corn starch mixture, sunflower oil refined, fish oil, vital wheat gluten, minerals, dried tomato pulp, yeasts and part thereof, glucosamine, marigold meal, hydrolysed cartilage (source of chondroitin). Protein sources: poultry by-products (22.6%), pork by-products (16.5%).
