For dogs with urinary sensitivities, a specially tailored diet containing precisely balanced nutrients can help to support good urinary health. ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O small breed dog food is specifically formulated with the nutritional needs of dogs with urinary sensitivities in mind.

This urinary food for dogs is suitable for dogs with: 
-    Struvite uroliths: dissolution and management of recurrence.
-    Calcium oxalate uroliths: management of recurrence.
-    Bacterial cystitis: management of secondary struvite crystalluria (in association with adequate antibiotherapy).

Urine Dilution
o    ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O Small Dog's exclusive complex helps to dilute your dog's urine, making it less likely for calcium oxalate stones and struvite stones to form in the first place.

Struvite Dissolution 
o    Struvite is a normal component of your dog's urine that can form crystals or stones if the urine is too concentrated. ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O Small Dog helps to dissolve all types of struvite stones that may form in your dog's bladder.

Low RSS 
o    Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is utilised for the development of ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O. RSS helps to lower the concentration of ion in your dog's urine, minimising the likelihood of bladder stones forming.

Tartar Control
o    To help support your dog's dental hygiene, ROYAL CANIN® Canine Urinary S/O Small Dog includes nutrients that help trap the calcium present in your dog's saliva, ultimately reducing the build-up of tartar to support healthy teeth and gums. 

As part of the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. To cater to each dog's individual preferences, ROYAL CANIN® Canine Urinary S/O Small Dog. If you're considering mixed feeding, simply follow our feeding guidelines to ensure your dog gets an accurate amount of both wet and dry food for optimal benefit. 

Please note: ROYAL CANIN® Canine Urinary S/O Small Dog is not suitable for Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), heart disease (when sodium restriction is sought), concurrent use of urine-acidifying medication, growth, gestation, lactation.

It is recommended that advice from a veterinarian be sought before use and before extending the period of use. Feed URINARY S/O SMALL DOG dry for 5 to 12 weeks for the dissolution of struvite stones and initially up to 6 months for the reduction of struvite stone recurrence. The dog should be re-evaluated regularly by the veterinarian to assess the relevance of a lifelong recommendation. Water should be available at all times. In older dogs, renal function should be checked before recommending Urinary S/O Small Dog. In older dogs, the use of Urinary S/O Ageing7+ is recommended.

Rice, maize flour, dehydrated poultry proteins, animal fats, maize gluten, hydrolysed animal proteins, minerals (including pentasodium triphosphate (0.35%)), vegetable fibres, egg powder, wheat gluten**, soya oil, fish oil, fructo-oligosaccharides, marigold meal.
